Rose Toy Not Working? How to Troubleshoot Rose Toy Issues

We have already met some customers asking us why the rose toy is not working. For this problem, we have organized several steps. Please follow the steps to check once.

Step #01: Read the manual carefully

Switch on the rose toy according to the manual, different rose toys will have different switch designs, some need to long-press, and some only need a light press.

For those who work with long presses, try lengthening the time. For example, the original need to press for 5 seconds, then increase to 10 seconds.

The short press can also be lengthened to try.

Step #02: Is the battery low?

Recall when you last used the rose toy. If you don’t use it for a long time, it will run out of power and needs to be recharged.

Therefore, we recommend that you charge it at least once a month if you don’t use it for a long time.

Step#03: Is the charging not working?

Check if there is a problem with the connection between the charging cable and the rose toy

Have you cleaned the charging cable? Is there dust, etc.?

First of all, is the charging cable working? If the light of the rose toy will be on or blinking after the charging cable is inserted, it means that the charging cable is working.

If the charging cable is Micro-USB, you can replace it with another one that is universal.

The charger must be tightly connected to the rose toy. For magnetic chargers, it must be firmly attached to the vibrator, and if it is a USB charging cable, then the USB must be fully inserted and the line must not be loose. If the charging cable is not connected tightly, it will not be charged.

Please put the vibrator in a smooth place to prevent it from falling when charging and thus being unable to continue charging.

If using a laptop for charging, the power must be on and cannot be in standby mode. If the computer is in standby mode, the USB output voltage is not enough and will not cause the vibrator to be fully charged.

Always try a different USB code in case the cord is defective.

Confirm the USB plug you are using is functioning. Try a different plug adaptor.

And sometimes there is an issue with the outlet you are using. Check a different outlet and do not use an extension cord. Plug directly into the wall.

Step #04: Check the rose toy body part

Is there some water that got into the rose toy? If the water leaks into the rose toy, you can dry it naturally or use a hair dryer to blow it with the natural wind.

Or we can use the traditional method of absorbing water, put the rose toy in a bucket of rice, and after three days, take it out and try again. Because the rice will absorb moisture, wait until the rose toy has no more water, it may work again.

You can also use silica gel desiccant, which has the effect of absorbing moisture. Put them together with Rose Toy, leave it for three days and try again.

Step #05: Return to the factory for repair

If all the above methods have been tested, still not working.

Then it needs to be returned to the factory for repair. For the return to the factory, please check your order to see if you bought it from our store, and if not, you need to contact your original store and ask them to return it to the factory.

The switch hasn’t been pressed for long enough or pushed too long

Our products all have different press times. If the press time is too long or too short, it may cause the rose toy to not work, so please read the manual to see if the current product requires a quick press, or a long press, if you can’t find the manual anymore, please contact us and we will guide you through the process.

Charging time is not long enough.

Most products must be fully charged at the first use and 100%. The information in the manual provided with each product will tell you how long it needs to be charged. Still, because the battery capacity is different, it will result in other charging times, with additional batteries requiring charging times ranging from two to six hours.

The batteries have been put in the wrong way.

If your sex toy is not rechargeable and is putting batteries in, then ensure the batteries are inserted correctly. Some batteries only have small positive and negative symbols. You should read the instructions and determine which direction to insert the batteries.

If the two batteries are used side by side, then generally, the two batteries need to be in opposite directions, one positive on the inside and one negative on the inside. Rather than the positive terminal together inserted into the interior.

It doesn’t work after changing the batteries.

Please check whether the battery is correctly inserted. We recommend that you use a well-known brand of batteries; cheap batteries’ power will become smaller and less durable, so new and old batteries do not mix use. We recommend using new batteries, do not use old batteries. The battery will be removed before the trip to prevent the occurrence of power consumption.

Check whether the battery has a paper or plastic isolation disk. Most batteries will have an isolation disk to prevent battery leakage, so if there is an isolation disk, please speak of isolation disk tear off and then only insert the battery.

The rose toy can not fully charge.

The rose toy has never actually entirely died yet. But it never fully charges either. It will stay on the charger for 10+ hours and still flash like it’s still charging. It never feels as fully charged as when you first purchase it.

You can change the charger, try again, or change the cable for this issue. If it still does not work, you can give up and buy a new one.

The charge is working but still not working

For example:
I purchased a rose toy for my wife for Valentine’s Day. She charged it and tried to use it; however, it won’t turn on. The light flashed at first while charging but then went steady, letting us know it was set. Once done, we tried to hold it for 3, 5 even 10 seconds, and it won’t come on. Any ideas? Is there a way to get a replacement?
